Day 1: Marrakech » Merzouga Sahara (Camel Trek & Night In desert) [560 km]
Our trip starts by picking you up from your hotel/riad then take the road towards Merzouga.
Across the Tizi N Tichka pass, with long-distance views over the mountains, to the traditional High Atlas Berber villages and we continue to the Merzouga Sahara desert through Tinjdad, Jerf, and Erfoud in which the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet begins. It’s only about 35 km from the Erg Chebbi dunes.
Once In Merzouga, where camels will be waiting for us on the edge of the impressive sand dunes of Merzouga to take us on an adventure in deep of the sand dunes, in an extremely quietness.
This is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and do Sandboarding, after a delicious dinner, we spend the night in a Merzouga camp (Nomad Berber tents) with drums music in the middle of the Sahara under a starry sky.
Day 2: Merzouga Desert » Rissani » Atlas Mountains » Marrakech [561 km]
After seeing the sunrise in the desert we go back on camels or in a 4×4 car to Merzouga if you aren’t comfortable riding camels, after having breakfast and taking a shower in a Hotel then start our journey back to Marrakech through the Berber villages of the atlas mountains ( Nkoub, Agdez..etc).
we’ll arrive in Marrakech where our desert tour comes to an end.
