Our 3-day tour Fes to Merzouga desert will starts from your hotel or riad in Fez driving across the Middle Atlas and cedar forest. Along the way we pass through Ifrane, which is a famous ski resort, then Midelt, famous for minerals and apples. We continue via Ziz valley to reach Erfoud, famous for fossil products, and then to Rissani.
Then, once we arrive in the Erg Chebbi desert where we meet our desert guide. We prepare for a camel ride across the Merzouga sand dunes and we enjoy sleeping in Sahara desert camp where the end of 1st day of our 3 days desert tour from Fez.

Today, you will say goodbye to the desert and you will surely have great memories, leaving to Fes through the RISSANI Market, the biggest souk in the area then to Erfoud a small town known for carving marble stones and fossils, and enjoy the beautiful Ziz valley and palm groves sceneries right up to Midelt another small city known for its Apple production.
You will probably take a short break here in a restaurant for lunch or in a small town not far away called Zaida.

We traveled with the Morocco tours agency and had a phenomenal time. The highlight of our trip was our stay at the hotel and the tour selected was atypical and authentic with extremely kind service. Refreshing to cool off at the pool with the summer heat, too!
When it came time for the camel ride, we directly mounted our camels at the hotel and set off into the desert. We were stunned and impressed by the tents - fully functional toilet, sink, and shower. Of course, electricity, too.
We were a small group of 6 and it felt so intimate. They served us a delicious dinner before a large thunderstorm rolled in. The tent held up perfectly. Woke up to see the sunrise and then rode our camels back to the hotel!
The drive isn't the most fun part - but if you want to see the countryside and can't miss out on the desert, it's worth it. And be ready for stereotypical Moroccan driving. Sometimes it's easier to close your eyes.

We had Hassan as our driver and guide. He was excellent, friendly, and very informative. He was also very responsive to our requests. A very pleasant person to spend days with.
The desert camp was well run, clean and organized. The bedding was fresh and the food tasty. The other accommodation provided was also very good.
By the end of the tour we were sad to say goodbye to our guide. Awesome experience, we will definitely be recommending Fes trips to all our friends.

The trip was a wonderful experience. Very well organized, safe, comfortable, communication before the travel was smooth and efficient. My driver Hassan was very friendly, knowledgeable, an excellent driver, and such a good company.
I loved the diversity of breathtaking mountain and desert landscapes, the camel ride, and the night in the dunes. Motion sickness pills are very useful, a great part of the route is in the mountains.

Everything was very well organized and we had no issue during the trip. The owner Said was always reachable per Mail before the Trip and could answer all our questions.
Our driver was very nice, funny and explained a lot about the culture and different cities/villages we passed. He did also drive very safely so we really could enjoy the whole trip.
I only can recommend this trip for everyone going to Morocco and wants to see the Atlas mountains and the desert.
Good way to get an impression of the country
We took part in the Sahara tour from Fes to the desert, back to Fes. Our driver was very friendly and could answer every our questions. The landscape we drove through is amazing, everything was organized very well.
The places we stopped in (either to take photos or to have lunch), were very touristic, it could be a little more individually to be a private tour.
This tour was nevertheless a great and easy possibility to see a big part of Morocco in a few days.

They take you on camels ( kind of camels with one hump) to the sandy environments and drop you near rusty tents. Toilets are barely acceptable and wind helps you to forget all your worries. It is a trying experience, a must-have if you go to Morocco.
