This is the itinerary for the 3-day Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour:
Day 1: Marrakech » Ait Ben Haddou » Ouarzazate » Dades Valley [315 Km]
Tizi Ntichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains. Numerous stops will be made along the way. Visit the UNESCO world heritage Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the most famous Ksar in the Ounila Valley.
Which was also served as a set for numerous Hollywood blockbusters, such as “Lawrence of Arabia (1962)”, “The Jewel of the Nile (1985)”, “Gladiator”, and “Game of Thrones”…etc
In 1987, the Kasbah (Ksar) of Ait Ben Haddou was added to UNESCO’s World Heritage listing for its impressive history and photogenic.
Continuing our desert tour to Ouarzazate and a visit to the famous Kasbah Taourirte before a delicious lunch at leisure.
In the afternoon, we drive to Boumalne Dades, a small town in Tinghir Province, via the Valley of the Roses before we arrive at our traditional riad located in the middle of the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight at a private room of the right type for you.
Day 2: Dades » Todra Gorges » Merzouga (Night in Desert Camp) [255 km]
Today, we will continue our adventure after breakfast and shower at the hotel / Riad via the Todra gorge (the highest gorge in Morocco where alpinists make their break) and also contains a river, palm trees,
The wheat fields. Old kasbahs, after this visit, continue towards Erfoud through the Berber bedouins villages from southern Morocco, arriving in Merzouga. Where we will find our camels that are waiting for a Sahara trip through the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Hearty dinner and accommodation in a Berber tent (Desert camp) in the middle of the desert, one of the most beautiful places, where you can admire the sunrise and the sunset and a starry sky.
Day 3: Merzouga » N'kob » Agdz » High Atlas Mountains » Marrakech [562 Km]
Early morning you can wake up to watch the sunrise, after breakfast, and shower in the camp, your camel man back to the departure point by camels, as we can transfer you by a 4WD car as an alternative to camels.
We will start our Morocco tour leaving the Merzouga Sahara desert back to Marrakech on a different road to Ouarzazate via Rissani, Alnif, Tazarine, N’kob, and Agdz ( Daraa Valley ). Stopping for lunch along the way.
We’ll continue our way to Marrakech via the High Atlas. By then the tour and our services come to an end.

A Trip of a Lifetime
My friend and I went on a 3-day; we were picked up from our riad by Mohammed in his clean 4WD. We can honestly say that this tour was the highlight of our 8-night stay in Morocco; seeing the Todra Gorges and of course staying the night camping in the desert with Berber food and music party being especially unique.
On the first day; we stayed at a very clean hotel in Dades, as well as the first hotel, which is very well equipped and great for relaxing in after a long day.
