Below is the detailed itinerary for the 4 days from Fes to Marrakech:
Day 1: Fes » Azrou » Midelt » Erfoud » Merzouga [467 Km]
The first day of our adventure through Merzouga Sahara. Midlet lies between the mountainous ranges of the Middle Atlas and the High Atlas mountain range at an altitude of 1,508 meters above sea level.
The trip is beautiful, covering places like Azrou, the view of the Barbary monkeys, the magnificent hills of Midelt to Tiz Ntalghamt Pass, and Ziz Gorge, followed by a lunch and continuing the exploration in the Ziz valley until you reach Merzouga.
Merzouga is a beautiful town in the Sahara desert, which is a delight for the eyes that provides an exotic camel experience among the beautiful sand dunes followed by the sunset, which is another memorable experience on the trip.
The nights here are beautiful with a bonfire that includes delicious dinners.
Day 2: Merzouga Desert Tour & Camel Trek [45 km]
After breakfast, we’ll start exploring the area, by visiting the village of dark skin people originally from Mali to enjoy their music and the way they live.
After that, we will drive to Miffis Mines to explore how they work over there before getting behind the Dunes in a full desert with charming views where we will sit for a warm cup of tea with the local Bedouins, before returning back to the hotel.
Day 3: Merzouga » Rissani » Todra Gorges » Dades Valley [255 km]
Continuing our desert trip, we will make up early in the morning to watch the best sunrise of your life and casting different shadows and colors over the sea of sand dunes, after breakfast, shower, and returning to our desert hotel. We will continue to Tinghir and the stunning Todra Gorge the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco.
The gorge is a great spot for hiking and relaxing on the edge of the river or sampling some local Berber delicacies. After lunch in the heart of the gorge, we’ll drive through the Dades Valley where we will end our day by spending the night in a nice hotel located on the top of the mountain.
Day 4: Dades » Ouarzazate » Ait Ben Haddou » Marrakech [325 km]
The final day tour from Marrakech continues toward the Ait Ben Haddou to Marrakech via Telouet.
The journey continues from the old caravan route of Ait ben Haddou stopping for some time to view Telouet- Pasha Glaoui Kasbah and moving forward to reach Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains and the famous Tizi N-Tichka pass. Drop you off at your accommodation around 6 – 7 pm.

An incredible 4 days journey
My husband and I just completed our tour from Fes to Marrakech. We had one night in the Dades Gorge and 2 nights in the desert. Everything was perfectly organized.
Our highlight for us was hiking in the Dades Gorge to visit a Nomad family living in a cave...it was so peaceful and authentic and there was not a single other tourist in sight! I would highly recommend booking through this company if you like pain-free, well-organized vacations to remember.
You do spend a lot of time in the car so be prepared for that. We comfortable sat in the 4x4 with ole ty of room for 4 suitcases.
