Program Itinerary of the Merzouga 4x4 Excursion
Merzouga is surrounded by quaint villages and great scenery which can be explored with the aid of 4x4s.
This Merzouga 4×4 Excursion starts from our location and then takes a thrilling drive through the desert dunes spotted with black volcanic rocks, which get you to a few villages, on the route made famous by the Paris Dakar Rally. Visit the seasonal lake of Merzouga.
Then, stopover at Khamlia village, listen to some Gnawa music (Optional) to mingle, and possibly have some mint tea with the locals. Please keep in mind that Gnawa musicians, buying a CD (cost about 10€) or a tip is required, therefore one of the two options is obligatory otherwise you can skip them and continue directly to the Lead Mines in Mefes.
Mefes is a small almost abandoned town on the other side of the Erg Chebbi dunes, known for its minerals mines such as iron, zinc, and lead in particular. These mines have been started since the French colonization.
Later, we continue our 4WD excursion to visit nomad people living in Berber-style tents on the edge of Erg Chebbi dunes. The last thing you will discover in this Merzouga 4×4 Excursion are the Gardens in Hassi Labied village.

The bus (Supratours) departs from Marrakech to Merzouga daily at 8.00 morning and arrives in Merzouga around 21:00.

The bus (Supratours) departs from Fes to Merzouga daily at 19.00 night and arrives in Merzouga around 06:00.
In this case, one of our team we’ll be waiting for you at the bus station in Hassi Labied (Merzouga area).

To confirm the Merzouga 4×4 Excursion, we require a small deposit to be paid over PayPal, Wise, or bank transfer to our account, the balance is payable in cash at the pick-up, to be paid to your driver in euros, or equal in dollars or dirhams.
Is it possible to pay the entire with PayPal?
Usually, we request the balance payments in cash because PayPal also has many transaction fees and operational delays since it’s a world institution. we will in some cases accept the complete payment via Paypal however a 5% fee is going to be applied to hide the additional transaction charges. just in case you’re considering this method, it’s best to rearrange the payment before the tour.
– To pay the full amount by Wise or bank transfer there will be a 2% extra to cover the transaction fee.

For a full refund, cancel a minimum of 30 days beforehand of the beginning date of the experience.
